Our Engineering Thesis
Over the past decade, artificial intelligence evolved largely inside disembodied cloud sandboxes—generating text and pixels without real-time physical consequences. As foundation models step into physical warehouses, surgical suites, autonomous rovers, and high-frequency enterprise operations, probabilistic guesswork is no longer acceptable.
Mechanical Minds was established on a single engineering invariant: neural intelligence must be bounded by deterministic physics and verifiable state machines. Whether we are compiling an FP8 Vision-Language-Action (VLA) transformer onto an NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX module or orchestrating a 12-agent Model Context Protocol (MCP) swarm, every action is governed by formal latency budgets, cryptographic audit logs, and hardware-enforced safety envelopes.
Sovereign Weights & Silicon
Critical robotics and enterprise workflows cannot depend on rate-limited external APIs or opaque third-party model deprecations. We deploy self-hosted, quantized models on bare-metal GPU and edge NPU silicon you control.
Hard Real-Time Determinism
We pair high-level neural planners with 1000Hz C++20 and Rust control loops over EtherCAT and ROS 2 CycloneDDS, guaranteeing that physical actuators never miss a deadline or exceed torque limits.
Full-Lineage Observability
Every token generated, tool invoked, and servo command dispatched is recorded with microsecond timestamps into immutable telemetry streams for instant post-incident replay.
